A recipe for ‘niceness’ …

What do you think would make you a nicer person?

A cup of Woo a day, all wrapped up and brought to you by the man/Woo-man of your dreams?

A wonderful chocolate brownie, slightly warm and just a little bit squidgy …

or a piping hot sun dried tomato and mozarrella panini, with the filling just oozing a tiny bit out of the sides? mmmmmmmmm …..

That was certainly Woo’s answer … but as it turns out, that’s not the word in the news! WHY NOT is what we say!

Anyway, it seems that according to a recent study, if you want to be a nicer person get yourself a bat, ball and head out to the nearest green field …  yep … the recipe is …. a game of cricket!!! According to Loughborough University, it makes people better behaved and more cooperative!

Hmmmmmm …. well Woo thinks that if someone ran up to us at 100mph intending to chuck a ball as hard as nails in our faces, we’d be less than cooperative … especially if we were trying to make a latte at the time! And what’s more, if we were asked to do this ….

Still, we do love watching a great game of cricket … come on England … but as for making people nicer, take a listen to the aussie sledging!

Happy Birthday Martin Alfonso …

It’s Martin’s birthday tomorrow and he is threatening generosity!!!!! He wants to give away coffee and cake in exchange for a birthday card. As no one reads this blog yet, I think it’s fairly safe to mention … but you know, if you do read this and feel like going down to Woo with a cheap birthday card and trying your luck, I’m sure he’ll be happy to see Woo … I mean you!!! I’m going to be putting up a birthday banner for him, making some playlists and decorating the place with some balloons so he should feel very spoiled!!!! Lucky birthday boy.
Anyway, we are batting very well in the cricket today aren’t we? I’m not usually a fan of Cook so am pleased to see him stepping up to the plate … by the way, what better to have on your plate tomorrow than Martin’s free cake!!!!!! 🙂 We will, we will Woo you!!! Adios Amigos!
